Roughing of aluminum with the new knurled cutters

• Polished chip flutes and the new “ALX1” coating prevent material adhesion.
• Less power consumption required than comparable smooth-edged tools.
• Very high material removal rate possible. A metal removal rate of over 16 liters (corresponding to approx. 3,6 kg of aluminum) per minute was tested with a tool Ø10 mm.
• Thanks to its special chip breakers, the tool produces short, easy-to-control chips.
• In conjunction with the central internal cooling, the air is optimally transported away.
• A smaller chip volume means that more material fits into the chip container on the machine – you have to empty it less often.
