By working closely with end users in the CFRP industry, we were able to develop a new cutter geometry based on the proven HEXACUT® CFRP cutter geometry.
Particularly in the case of large components, the vibration behavior of the components was greatly reduced, so that in turn the requirements for component clamping could be reduced.
In addition, this geometry in combination with copper mesh and other composite materials achieves significantly improved edge strength.
The new DIP6p diamond coating enables maximum service life – even with demanding materials such as CFRP high-temperature thermoset and thermoplastic matrix systems with an aerospace-grade fiber.
