Steel up to 56 HRC

Mill steel up to 56 HRC

Steels up to 56 HRC represent the majority of hardened steels. They are mainly found in plastic injection molding tools or aluminum die-casting tools. Components in mechanical engineering are also often made of such steels. As a rule, the aim here is to have the shortest possible processing time for the components while at the same time having a long service life for the cutting tools.

High feed and finishing cutters for more efficiency

Hufschmied has developed a time-saving concept for machining steel, which consists of the HHF346 and HHF646 high-feed milling cutters in combination with the finishing milling cutters from the HC2X2 to HC2X4 series. The HHM905 and HHM915 mini milling cutters are used for small machining. All tools can be supplied with the PVD coatings TL8 to TL12.
